First, after the final project I realized that how important the English is. I couldn't exactly deliver all I want to tell in English or maybe I am just too nervous. However, this is the most regretful thing when I think about it now
The movie "Farewell My Concubine" is a story about 段小樓 and 程蝶衣.and hoe their live are affected by the Japanese invasion of China in the 1930s and the victory of the Communists in 1949. I love this movie because of its storyline, a man who were confused between the reality and the play,in the end, he die as like the concubine did while he finally figure out there are two different world he had mixed together.
Initially, I thought this movie can represent the Asia is that the situation of Beijing opera had faced just as the Asia faced when we were try to follow the Westerner's footprint to be stronger as for we lost our tradition, and this situation is what almost country in Asia had met. But after my presentation, there are two people told me another aspect to watch this movie and another thought about how the movie represent the Asia. They give me a new thought about it and I m appreciated that.It make me to watch it again and it did have something i didnt noticed before.
To sum up, this movie is great hope you can enjoy it, too.
