Hayao Miyazaki

Hayao Miyazaki's is a very successful moviemaker in realm of animation.Personally speaking ,I enjoy the moving story with wonderful music. When the plot of story comes with symphony, it ‘s easy to get into the story. 

 

《Princess Mononoke》is most important film of him at that times.Princess Mononoke marked a turning point in Miyazaki's career not merely because it broke Japanese box office records, but also because it, arguably, marked the emergence (through a distribution deal with Disney) into the global animation markets".

Technically speaking, 《Princess Mononoke》was Miyazaki's first film to use computer graphics.For example the demon snakes are computer-generated.

When talking about the further meaning of this film ,I think it want to evoke the conscious of ecology (especially at that times, human didn’t raise a sense of environmental friendly )and political conflict between different groups.

Another conscious Miyazaki pay attention to is Feminism.

I think it’s brave to talk about it in traditional Asian culture. Still does he make so many films began with female.

For example ，Chihiro(小千) ,the girl in《Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi(千与千寻)》is Normal and hardworking, but finally she concur a lots of difficulty save her family and find the way out.The female leader （幻姬）is a tough woman with firm will, she is indispensable in the group and lead the human troops to carry out the task. …..All of this characters trying to express ,weak as they seems ,the female sometimes will be the turning point of the event.

Now Hayao Miyazaki got retired after the release of his 2013 film The Wind Rises .
