In final report,I want to talk about my favorite film director,Johnnie To. I focus on the Aestheticization of violence in his film.
First of all, I make a 1-min short film to preview my report. I listed the normal violent scene in others' films, and show the Johnnie To's film , Fon Jok, to the audiences.
While making the posts,I screenshot ten shots from the film, The Mission, to show how the director build up the tension in the market. By the way, the MARKET scene is the classical part in this film.
Besides the yellow post, I also made a smaller one to introduce Johnnie's other works, The Election and Exiled. You can feel the charm of the director deeper.
