His name was Robert Jonathan Demme,and he is an American filmmaker. In 1991,Robert Jonathan Demme won the Academy Award for The Silence of Lambs-one of only three films to win all the major catagories(Best Picture,Best Director,Best Screenplay,Best Actor,and Best Actress).
