The director that I would like to introduce is Ang Lee. He is also my favorite director. In 1991, he filmed his first movie - Push Hand. The movie is talking about the issue of American of Asian descent. How they try to live in harmony with each other and work through all the difficulties. And then in 2000, Crouching Tighter, Hidden Dragon let Ang Lee won lots of compliment. I specially love the way he presented the personality of the character and the way he told the story of conventional society, morality and love.
In 2013, " Life of Pi " encouraged me to face to the obstruct in my life. The story of the boy and a tiger made me think of the good side and evil side of humanity. I love this movie very much, so after watching this movie, I also watched the film of behind the scene, I saw he taught the boy how to act naturally and directed the movie. The animation also inspired me a lot. And this was probably one of the reasons that I decided to major communication art.
