John Carpenter is my favorite movie director. My favourite movie genre is horror (and thriller). John Carpenter is often considered as "The Master of Horror", after all, with his movie "Halloween" (1978) he kind of invented the "Slasher" genre. Even though I like Halloween II better, he made some more inspirational movies to me, especially "The Fog", "Assault on Precinct 13" and "John Carpenter's Vampires".
