Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts drama film. 
The movie is based on the life story of the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man. Ip Man was the Wing Chun master who has trained Bruce Lee. The film shows the life of the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man from the 1930s in Foshan, his flight to Hong Kong after the Second Sino-Japanese War, and the events leading to his death.

Matthias: Hey I have just watched the movie and found it quite boring xD
Derek: How is that possible?
Matthias: Almost nothing happened and it was almost all artistic.
Jinny: The fights were brilliant.
Matthias: But there were almost no fights!
Yuki: You don't like Wing Chun?
Derek: It's about the meaning of martial arts and fighting and i am gay.
Matthias: But I prefer the martial arts movies with more action instead of art :)
Villy: Maybe its because Matthias' culture is different, so he might dislike it somehow.
Derek: Seems Matthias only likes Horror movies, such a psycho. HAHA
Matthias: Not only xD Just like Horror the most.
Villy: I was very touched when watching the movie.
Matthias: I wasn't touched.
Yuki: The camera and the light were very pretty in the movie.
Jinny: I think so too. It looked pretty cool. And I agree that Derek is gay.
Villy: Yes he is. But back to the movie: The director was very good in adding slow-motion scenes.
Derek: Yes I love them.
Matthias: They were not so awesome at all XD
Jinny: They contained a lot of details when they're fighting.
Yuki: Did you guys understand the movie?
Everybody except Yuki: Not really.
Yuki: The main point in the movie is about passing on wise thinking and about the spirit of Chinese people.
Jinny: It shows the Chinese heroism, which was born in a chaos but is still able to manage his life in its best way and can tolerate many things.
Matthias: But in my opinion its more like a movie you watch once and never again.
Villy, Yuki, Derek: Probably, but it was still a nice movie and we might watch it again someday.
Jinny: Okay, I guess that is enough to talk about.
