I will mainly discuss the Singapore's culture by the film  ILO ILO.ILO ILO in Chinese is 爸媽不在家.ILO ILO is the province of the Philippines and also the maid Teresa's hometown in the movie.The director Anthony Chen resonates the people not only just in Singapore but also in Taiwan ,Hong Kong and the other Asian countries by a normal family story just like you and me and our neighbors.The story's background is in late 90s the Asian Financial Crisis.It uncover the Singapore's family problems and the bitterness of a foregin worker by the friendship between the maid Teresa and the young boy Jiale.We can also see the Singapore's education system and the multiple languages.Above,I will introduce more detailed in my poster.
