When it comes to the historical
perspective in the documentary film of Korean films, female directors are not
mentioned in the film all the time. Because Korea
is a deep tradition of male chauvinism country. Korean value not women but men.
Women were kept at the bottom of society for a long time. Male directors focus on real situation and social condition in Korea.
In the documentary film, my favorite film is
<<Ticket>>. 林权泽 directs this film. His film style is realistic. This
film reflects the whole Korean society at that time by underlying women. The
film concerns the problem of social contradiction.
