My topic: The realism in Hou Hsiao-hsien 's films
what is the realism? it refers to the background of the story or the 拍攝手法? and how does Hou Hsiao-hsien reprent the reality in his film. i would like to choose about 2-3 films to talk about his innovation and the change.

The topic of my project

My personal topic: Accoustic of the film, like background and underscore music. It means some scene needs organized music in the film or special scenes. And I will discuss three films. The First film is "Red Rose white Rose" (紅玫瑰與白玫瑰). The music emphasizes the title of the love. After we listen to the music, the composer wants to reveal a kind of greedy of affection from two actresses. And then he confers the exoneration of guilt and guiltless. The second film is "Chungking Express" (重慶森林)whose music is 60’s old song from Kar Wai Wong’s selection. The song is very popular with everyone. Then whole music appears to be appealing to the ear. The third film is "Cheap Killers" (愈墮落愈英雄). From first sensational scene leads audience to appreciate its main motif. The performer makes use of their body language to arouse audience imagination. I think this action and music guild us to watch it a lot. So I choose three movies and analyze them.

my personal project topic talks about homeosexual films: 藍色大門 and 盛夏光年. The two story of films are talks about homeosexuality that a homosexual couple and opposite sex relationship, and furthermore directors are both the new young directors. I love the film " The Real Blonde." In this film, Eyre who has a bad brain works so hard to become a lawyer because of falling love with someone. 　　 Hi, I'm a junior student in the English Department. The two reasons I choose this class are credit and interest. I hope I can learn more about films and gain more knowledge. Actually I like Hollywood movies very much but I also want to learn local movies. I hope after this course, I can know more about our local movies. And also I welcome others can discuss or share their thoughts and feelings about films with me. I believe it can help me improve and develop my thoughts about what I learn and what I gain from the teacher.

　　I like the movie very much. I saw the movie when I was the fifth grade in elementary school. It's the best movie that I have ever seen, and I think the movie teach me a lot. I really touched by the movie. It's not only because the plot or the structure, but also because the further meaning and the thoughts that director want to tell us. In short, it's really a good movie and I was really enjoy seeing it that time.

Hello!!I am Shereen from senior A. I'm very glad that I could take this course in this semester. I think everyone likes movies, of course includes me. Watching movies always can release my pressure and gives me more and more clear notions. I really hope that I can learn more knoledge about films from this course. On the top of this paragraph is the poster of my favorite movie: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The reason I like this film are the contents and the background.
